Akokum Health Clinic
Thanks to the generous donation from the Loflin-Anaya Foundation, World Joy and the local villagers from Akokum built the first Health Clinic and dedicated the facility in October, 2010.
The Clinic is built on a hill with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The facility houses two nurses and a mid-wife.
Ike Ferguson, third person from the left, and Chairman of the World Joy Board of Directors has been responsible for working with the local villagers and contractors to bring our programs and structures to fruition. Stephen and Margaret Abu, fourth and fifth person from the left, local villagers from Abomosu, spear-head all World Joy projects. World Joy has completed many projects/programs in the last five years because of their dedication, hard work, and support.
